Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married in the civil ceremony on was held in December. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV for 2013. Entertainment Television.
